Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment across various commercial properties. Candidates with experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler systems, and property maintenance are highly encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. The technician will play a vital role in ensuring optimal climate control and system efficiency for our clients.

Duties

  • Troubleshoot, repair and install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces and commercial ceiling fans.
  • Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately perform installations and repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform welding, plumbing, and ammonia refrigeration repairs as needed for specialized systems.
  • Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems including ductwork, ventilation, and air quality improvements.
  • Follow safety protocols during all field service operations to ensure safety for oneself and others on site.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as construction or property maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles.
  • Mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and boiler systems.
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems relevant to HVAC operations.
  • Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Experience working with electrical components using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license is required; experience driving multi-lift vehicles is a plus.
