Lumper Job Summary 

We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Lumper. You will unload packages, materials, and pallets from arriving trucks and prepare all items for distribution and storage in the warehouse. This is a physically demanding position, and you need a keen eye for detail and a self-starting personality. Our ideal candidate has worked in a warehouse and has experience with loading, packing, and shipping and receiving. Experience as a forklift or pallet jack driver a plus. You must be able to stand, lift heavy items, and crouch for several hours a day.

Lumper Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and distribute pallets of goods to the appropriate area of the warehouse
• Operate a pallet jack
• Maintain a safe and organized loading area
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines

Lumper Requirements and Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Pallet jack or forklift experience and certification (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret loading/unloading instructions and order manifests
• Must provide and wear steel toe shoes
• Must be able to work within a team and independently
• Effective verbal communication
• Ability to lift up to 50#'s
• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
